Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a manufacturing associate for a 2nd shift role (3 PM–11:30 PM) at our New Jersey facility. You will use micrometers and calipers to assemble etch-cleaned parts in a clean room, maintain paperwork, and support Lean manufacturing practices.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic math/computer skills (Excel), and the ability to lift 50 pounds. OT may be required and final compensation will reflect education, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations as stated in the OST Safety Manual.
• Proficiently use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Assembly of etch-cleaned parts in a clean room environment.
• Assist in the development and revision of billet packing procedures as needed.
• Maintain well-organized manufacturing paperwork.
• Support and help improve Lean manufacturing practices.
• Work comfortably as part of a team on some tasks, and work comfortably with minimal supervision at other times.
• Need to be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Working overtime as the production schedule requires.
• Able to follow packing diagrams.
• Cross-training as required per business needs.
