Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Avionics Electrical Technician II for our Appleton, WI facility. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics/electrical systems to meet strict safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will perform installation and functional testing, document work, and adapt to schedule changes while maintaining attention to engineering specifications and FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• 4 years avionics/electrical experience or 2 years schooling in aviation electronics plus 2 years related experience.
• A&P license preferred; FCC license preferred; NCATT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical skills in testing avionics and aircraft systems.
• Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specs.
• Ensures quality and timely repairs of malfunctioning systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective wiring using proper techniques.
• Implements engineering changes and modifications as required.
• Operates and tests test equipment; conducts functional/operational tests.
• Documents all work and prepares for inspection; follows safety procedures.
