Job summary

Freight Breakers is seeking a 2nd Shift Associate (Tire Unloading) to join our warehouse team. You will safely load and unload tires and related products, help maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure shipments are handled efficiently and on schedule.

This role operates Monday-Thursday, 4pm-2:30am, using a manual pallet jack and heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment. We value reliability, safety, and teamwork, with benefits including 401k, PTO, and health coverage.

2nd Shift Associate (Tire Unloading)

Overview:

Become an important part of our warehouse team as a 2nd Shift associate (Tire Unloader)! This fast-paced position is ideal for hardworking, motivated individuals who enjoy staying active and contributing to smooth shipping, receiving, and material-handling operations. In this role, you’ll safely load and unload tires and related products while helping maintain accurate inventory and ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and on schedule. You’ll also gain valuable hands‑on experience and opportunities to build your skills while working with heavy equipment.

Unloading:

The base of each stack should be positioned toward the center of the rack, with only one SKU stored per rack. All stacks must remain stable and include a cardboard slip sheet placed between the layers. Ensure all labels are properly aligned, keeping each stack straight and consistent with an imaginary vertical line.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload tires using a manual pallet jack while following all established safety procedures.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety standards throughout all warehouse operations.
• Assist warehouse management by keeping storage areas organized and accurately maintaining records in the warehouse management system.
• Work closely with team members to complete loading and unloading tasks efficiently and on schedule while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Pay Structure:

Associates are paid based on each trailer they unload, with no set limit on the number of trailers. Typically, an associate unload approximately 3–4 trailers per shift. Payment for each trailer is determined by its weight. Current average earnings range from $150–$250+ per day, depending on the associate’s work pace, productivity, and the total amount of work completed during the shift.

• After successfully completing your first week of training, you can earn up to $200 per day or $1,000 per week.
• Trailer compensation ranges from $40 to $115 per truck, with the payout for each truck determined by the total weight of its load.
