Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to ensure guest comfort by keeping units and facilities in excellent working condition. You will supervise and assist in planning, organizing, staffing, directing maintenance operations, while coordinating with front desk and housekeeping to resolve issues.

The role requires HVAC certification, flexibility for peak seasons, and strong customer service, with lifting 50 lbs and willingness to obtain a CPO certification.

Qualifications

• Variety of knowledge in the repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, structural repair and appliance repair.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the operations of the building and grounds maintenance department.
• Communicate with other departments based (i.e. front desk/ housekeeping) on various issues.
• Ensure overall quality and timeliness of maintenance performed both in-house as well as by contracted services.
• Ensure compliance of the preventative maintenance procedures within units and building systems.
• Assist other maintenance technicians as requested.
