Job summary

Penmac Staffing is hiring Assembly Technicians for a first-shift opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients. These roles require hands-on, detailed assembly and construction-related skills, with reading blueprints and working from precise measurements to assemble complex components.

You will assemble HVAC units, perform framing and mechanical assembly, use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools, and read schematics as part of a quality-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in framing, remodeling, commercial construction, building trades, or detailed mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• HVAC or electrical experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work Saturdays during peak summer months as needed.
• Resume must be current with references verified.

Assembly Technician

Penmac Staffing is hiring Assembly Technicians for a first-shift opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients. These are limited openings, and we are seeking candidates with a strong background in hands-on, detailed assembly and construction-related skills. This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable reading blueprints, working from precise measurements, and assembling complex components.

Assembly Technician Responsibilities

• Assemble HVAC units and components according to blueprints and work instructions
• Perform framing, detailed mechanical assembly, and component installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools accurately, including tape measures
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Work closely with team members to meet quality and production standards
• Maintain a safe, organized work area

Requirements for the Assembly Technician

• Recent experience in framing, remodeling, commercial construction, building trades, or detailed mechanical assembly
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Electrical experience is a plus
• Stable work history with all employment gaps accounted for
• Resume must be current, and professional references must be verified
• Willingness to work Saturdays during peak summer months as needed
• Must be able to meet pre-employment requirements, including background screening

Pay and Schedule

• Pay starts at $18 per hour and may be higher based on experience and skill level
