Job summary

Adecco is assisting in the search for an assembler in Louisville, KY. This 2nd shift position runs Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 1am, with occasional overtime on Fridays. Training on 1st shift for three weeks (Mon-Thu 5am-3pm) is required.

The role involves assembling sub-assemblies at a bench, using basic tools, reading drawings, and learning SAP transactions. Physical duties include standing 10+ hours and lifting up to 40 lbs; HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years related experience
• Must have worked in an assembly based area which included detailed work instructions, method layouts, and other work instructions
• Must be able to read drawings and/or blueprints
• Ability to stand for 10+ hours with frequent bending, stooping and squatting
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. while handling bulky items
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Perform on multiple sub-assembly operations and shorter cycle time kits while working at work bench station
• Perform repeatable processes requiring a low amount of troubleshooting and adjustment to safely build a quality product
• Ability to use basic hand tools, torque guns, and simple electrical devices
• Must operate at standard productivity rate after completion of formal training
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to be trained on forklift, RF scanners, label printers, and other equipment as assigned
• Ability to learn basic SAP computerized transactions
