Job summary

Stryker in Portage, MI is seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing associate to assemble components and prepare products for production lines. You will follow work instructions, monitor quality, and document activities to meet standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 75 lbs; we offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.25 plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies to contribute to product completion.
• Prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines.
• Follow work instructions and test procedures, document results to meet quality requirements.
• Maintain production build rates and meet cycle times.
• Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other devices.
• Use a variety of tools (hand, pneumatic, measuring) as required.
• Set up, prep, clean up, and ensure quality of own work and area.
• Meet schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Lift/carry 10–50 lbs frequently; 50–75 lbs rarely.
