Job summary

Permobil, Inc. is seeking an Assembler in New Berlin, WI for 2nd shift. The role covers repetitive assembly, material handling, and tool operation. Proficiency with tape measures and basic math helps ensure accurate parts assembly and adherence to specifications.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm, with potential overtime. Pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.00 per hour, with standard company benefits and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive assembly operations to assemble seating and positioning equipment per specifications.
• Read and follow work orders via EDO or hard copies to build and assemble parts.
• Operate band saw, grinder, and portable power tools; use hand tools as needed.
• Locate materials required to assemble products and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain Kanban system and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow safety rules and ISO procedures; maintain 5S housekeeping.
