Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration & Electrical Technician for a permanent 2nd shift role in the Greater Madison area. You will maintain NH3 refrigeration systems, troubleshoot 3-phase power, and support plant operations in a clean, safety‑driven environment.

We offer a competitive $42.00–$44.00/hour base, premium overtime, a full benefits package, and 100% on‑site work with no travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ammonia refrigeration experience in a manufacturing facility.
• 2+ years electrical diagnostics experience with 3-phase power.
• Permanent 2nd shift availability (Mon–Fri).
• US Citizen or Green Card holder; local commuting radius of ~45 minutes.
• RETA certification preferred; sponsorship available to obtain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial ammonia infrastructure: preventive maintenance, fault tracing, and repairs on NH3 systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical networks: power distribution, MCCs, control circuits, and panels.
• Ensure PSM and OSHA compliance in collaboration with safety leadership.
• Support plant operations: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility maintenance on 2nd shift.
• Maintain digital records: logs and work orders in the CMMS.
