Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Support Technician on the 2nd shift to work on private aircraft interiors at East Alton, IL. You will perform interior mechanical tasks, install components, and support modifications under supervision, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid driver’s license is ideal. Expect to work in a hangar/shop environment with FAA compliance and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license ideal for travel.
• Ability to read blueprints and reports.
• Experience levels range from Tech I to Master Tech with supervision expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical items on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Carry out minor modifications with minimal direction.
• Maintain turnover sheets, work orders, and weight/balance data.
• Repair shop facilities and tooling; ensure clean, safe work areas.
• Use basic computer skills to access training, manuals, and maintenance data.
• Work with teammates and communicate clearly in English.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
