Job summary

KBR is seeking an Advanced Program Support Technician (2nd Shift) to support the Space Suit Design Team and AXEMU-related hardware in Houston, TX. The role includes manufacturing, assembly, testing, and maintenance of aerospace components and subassemblies.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of related experience, strong reading comprehension of engineering drawings, and the ability to operate diverse manufacturing equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high mechanical aptitude with ability to read detailed technical procedures and drawings.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Requires ability to pass Class III Physical, Clean Room, and Controlled Work Area Training.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, repair of aerospace hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, test, repair and maintain hardware per drawings and specs.
• Operate 3D printers, RF welders, fabric laser and wheel cutter equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers to locate anomalies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain daily logs and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
