Connections Personnel, Inc. is hiring a Direct Hire Technician A for 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) in Springfield, NJ. The role focuses on assembling and testing advanced fluid-control components for aerospace, nuclear, and other precision applications, requiring hands-on electro-mechanical experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical maintenance, strong tool skills, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work in clean-room environments while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and procedures.
• Proven experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical hardware.
• Hands-on high-pressure fluid, gas and cryogenic testing experience.
• Electrical testing, dielectric and insulation-resistance knowledge.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to document results clearly.
• Experience in clean-room environments and safe work habits.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical and electro-mechanical fluid-control devices per procedures.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure test systems and calibration stands.
• Perform electrical tests and verify with diagnostic tools.
• Work in clean-room environments and collect precise data.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware using diagnostics.
• Use oscilloscopes and other equipment to support testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs as needed.
