Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong background in 5-axis machining to set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

The role requires rigorous attention to blueprint specifications, tool selection, and precise feeds and speeds. Candidates should have extensive lathe experience and be able to work independently in a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8-10 years of CNC Machining (Lathe) experience in CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation.
• Aerospace background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) according to blueprint specifications.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
• Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.
• Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary.
