Job summary

State Street Academy in Bay City, Michigan, is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher with Michigan Teacher Certification and endorsement to join our K-11 charter school family. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Michigan teaching certification with endorsement in the appropriate grade level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Commitment to safe, engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on curriculum standards.
• Develop assessments and monitor student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the mission of the institution.
