Qualifications

• Education/certification options include Texas State Teacher’s Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing score on a relevant ExCET/TExES exam or degree in Elementary Education.
• Experience in the content area with professional recommendation is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons and motivate students using classical traditional methods.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and communicate progress to parents.
• Provide interventions and maintain grades, calendar, and parent communication.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 staff to implement accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
