Job summary

Gilbert Public Schools is seeking a Certified Classroom Teacher for PreK-6/Elementary to join Greenfield Elementary in Gilbert, AZ. This 10-month, exempt position offers an annual rate starting at $55,150 with experience-based advancement and a full-time 1.0 FTE commitment.

Applicants must hold an Arizona Early Childhood or Elementary certificate (or Special Education with EC endorsement) and possess a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Arizona Standard Professional Teacher Certificate with proper endorsements.
• Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of study that meets the individual needs of students within the district curriculum.
• Creates weekly written lesson plans correlated with curriculum goals.
• Monitors and assesses student progress and communicates with students and parents.
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to district policies and procedures.
