Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of study that meets the district curriculum.
• Uses effective teaching techniques to implement curriculum goals and objectives.
• Creates a weekly written lesson plan aligned to curriculum goals.
• Monitors and assesses student progress and communicates with students and parents.
• Diagnoses, instructs and evaluates student needs and seeks district specialists as required.
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning and adheres to policies.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policy.
