Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and implements authentic and engaging learning experiences using the New Mexico Adopted Content Standards, WIDA/ELD standards and the Carlsbad Municipal Schools adopted curriculum.
• Accurately demonstrates knowledge of the content area and uses the approved curriculum with fidelity.
• Gives clear expectations relating to lesson content and procedure.
• Communicates accurately in the content area.
• Shows inter relatedness across content areas.
• Use teaching techniques which address student learning levels, rates, and styles.
• Uses materials and media which address student learning levels, rates, and styles.
• Provides small group, one to one instruction when needed.

Education and Experience
