As a 2nd Grade Teacher, you will develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines, establish rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop essential skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing instruction aligned with company goals and curriculum standards.
• Creating engaging lesson plans with effective strategies and real-world applications.
• Reviewing student records to tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Assessing student progress regularly and adjusting instruction accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate student records and preparing students for state assessments.
• Creating a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Developing and executing lesson plans that meet instructional objectives.
• Engaging with parents and the community to support student success.
• Participating in curriculum planning and school activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and valid teaching certification.
• 1-3 years of successful teaching experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systems.
• Commitment to the school's values and mission.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Usual office/ classroom conditions.
• No significant physical exertion required.
• Travel as needed.

This job is exempt from overtime under the FLSA.
