Crandall Independent School District in Texas seeks an Elementary School Teacher to provide engaging learning experiences in core subjects, supporting students' intellectual, emotional, and social growth. The teacher will use diverse instructional strategies for in-person and virtual learners.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing student progress, collaborating with special education staff, managing behavior, and communicating with families.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or DOI waiver training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core subject.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person, distance, and virtual learning.
• Plan instructional strategies and materials to meet TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and tailor activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and assign work to aides/volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement.
• Oversee extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Be a positive role model and support the district mission.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage student behavior per the Student Code of Conduct.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents via phone, email, or meetings.
