Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Assistant Manager to join our in-store sales team in a part-time, entry-level management role. You’ll greet customers, drive sales of shoes, apparel and accessories, and lead the team on duty to deliver the best customer experience.

You will also handle banking deposits and coordinate restocking as shipments arrive. The role emphasizes development and internal promotion, with benefits including employee discount, flexible schedule, 401(k) with company match,

What you will do:

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
• Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Teach others how to do all the things above.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.

What you need:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Want to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times that you are alone in the store.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.
