Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking a dynamic 2nd Assistant Manager to lead our sales team in a busy retail store. This entry-level, part-time management role combines shoe sales with people leadership, and you may step in as manager on duty to support higher-level store goals.

You will greet customers, guide shopping, stock the floor, process deposits, and help ensure a clean, organized store. Growth opportunities, employee discounts, flexible schedules, and benefits await.

The 2nd Assistant Manager is an entry level part-time management role that will not only sell our shoes to customers but also manage and lead the sales team when you are the manager on duty. What you will do:

• Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
• Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards.
• Help re-stock the sales floor.
• Keep things neat and clean in the store.
• Teach others how to do all the things above.
• Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
• Make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.

What you need:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Want to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
• Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times that you are alone in the store.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.
