Job summary

Training Resources Limited is seeking a 2nd Assistant Engineer for the R/V Kilo Moana to support oceanographic research operations in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role includes maintaining vessel operations and may lead to a permanent position.

Candidates must hold an Unlimited Motor Propelled Vessels License, USCG STCW Medical Certificate, and valid TWIC and US Passport. Additionally, applicants need to be US citizens and pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Current MMC and required STCW documentation of training and validity for licenses.

Job description

RCUH Non‑Civil Service position with the University of Hawai‘i Marine Center (UHMC), located at Pier 35 in Honolulu Harbor, Oahu, Hawai‘i. Note: No requirement to live in Hawaii; travel is arranged to and from vessel by UHMC.
