Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (NMPRC) in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Support Care Assistant to aid patients with daily living activities and provide compassionate care. This full-time role offers evening and night shifts with a 2nd/3rd shift differential and requires weekend availability on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, performing rounds, administering basic first aid, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for individuals

Qualifications

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene and mobility.
• Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with patients, co-workers and supervisors.
• Perform routine environmental rounds and document observations accurately.
• Provide first aid and emergency treatment as required.
• Care for patients with mental illness across forensic settings and varied age groups.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful work environment.
