Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-oriented Production Associates to join our Albion, MI team. The role involves operating equipment, monitoring control systems, and supporting continuous production on multiple shifts.

Flexibility to work first, second, or third shift (including overtime, holidays, and weekends) is required. Starting pay is $23.25 per hour with additional $1.50 (2nd shift) or $1.25 (3rd shift) differentials, and potential increases based on skills and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of a post‑high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a loud, high‑volume plant.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or input data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain adherence to safety rules and wear protective equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing for up to 12 hours in a loud environment.
