Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble products on the line using prints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions, and you may use power tools, overhead hoists, and fixtures.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting schedules. Hours are 2PM–10PM with a base pay of $25.59 per hour plus a $5.00 shift differential on second and third shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD models to meet production specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units according to customer specifications using manual and powered hand tools.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assemblies.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of quality and production checklists/processes.
• Use computer to access and enter information on Windows-based and CAD platforms; keep area clean.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
