Job summary

Monroechamber in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on corrugated converting equipment and general facilities. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read schematics.

Three or more years in maintenance is preferred; this is a direct hire position on 2nd/3rd shift with safety-focused, quality-driven

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and fabrication processes.
• Corrugated industry experience or familiarity with sheet plant machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedules and procedures.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and parts lists.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure operation, efficiency, and reliability.
• Perform mechanical, basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and fabrication repairs.
• Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut, repair, or join metal components.
• Repair and maintain facility structures and building components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
