Job summary

Lavazza North America is seeking a Machine Operator to join the manufacturing team at our West Chester, PA site. You will ensure safety, food safety and quality while loading materials, packing sachets, and palletizing cases on the packaging line.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (2-year technical degree preferred) and 0–3 years of operator experience. You will work with a team, adhere to SOPs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-year technical degree preferred
• 0–3 years machine operator experience
• Understanding of mechanical operation with focus on quality monitoring
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Team player with good attendance
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand long periods
• Willingness to work any shift as required

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line at optimal level and monitor scrap and downtime
• Maintain area cleanliness and 5S standards; logbooks accuracy
• Perform changeovers and follow SOPs for quality and safety
• Conduct product quality and food safety tests; record data
• Assist maintenance and facilitators as needed
• Support continuous improvement efforts and propose ideas
• Handle related duties as assigned
