Job summary

CCL Industries is seeking a 2nd & 3rd Shift Catcher/Folder Operator to support fast-paced printing production. You will operate the folder, catch folded leaflets, and ensure they are properly boxed, labeled, and prepared for the next stage.

Candidates must read a ruler to 1/64”, have solid math, strong English skills, and be a reliable team player with initiative and problem-solving abilities. Prior folder operations and gluing systems experience are preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate folder and catcher to meet daily production goals.
• Prevent equipment damage and ensure safe operation.
• Follow procedures, 6S, and cGMP requirements.
• Pull samples for documented inspection and customer requirements.
• Coordinate QA sign-off and maintain finished leaflet quality.
• Box, label, and prepare folded product for shipping or next stage.
• Train coworkers as needed for production demands.
• Other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain traceability paperwork as required.

Essential Functions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals involved in a printing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

Physical Demands:

• The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job:
• Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required.
• The ability to remain in a standing position for long periods of time is required.
• The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read and follow verbal directives in English is required.
• The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal and vertical positions is required.
• The ability to utilize fine motor skills while working on sensitive machinery is essential.
• The ability to move pallets of product using a hand truck (pallet jack).

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible with hours and work overtime when needed.

Required Education/Experience: Knowledge of printing production.

High School Diploma.

Preferred Education and Experience: Folder Operations background is preferred. Background with gluing systems preferred.
