Job summary

CCL Industries is seeking a printing production associate in a full-time role. You will operate a folder, monitor quality, and assist with packaging while following 6S and cGMP procedures. A high school diploma and ability to read a ruler to 1/64” are required, with strong math and English skills.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, proactive, and able to train others as needed. The environment may involve exposure to printing chemicals and requires willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate folder and prevent damage to equipment while ensuring safety.
• Follow procedures, 6S, and cGMP requirements.
• Pull samples for inspection per customer requirements.
• Obtain QA sign-off for jobs.
• Catch folded leaflets and arrange for packaging.
• Monitor quality and size of finished leaflets during runs.
• Box and label folded product for application or shipping.
• Train other coworkers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by lead/supervisor/manager.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals involved in a printing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

Physical Demands

• The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job:
• Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required.
• The ability to remain in a standing position for long periods of time is required.
• The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read and follow verbal directives in English is required.
• The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal and vertical positions is required.
• The ability to utilize fine motor skills while working on sensitive machinery is essential.
• The ability to move pallets of product using a hand truck (pallet jack).

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible with hours and work overtime when needed.

Folder Operations background is preferred.
Background with gluing systems preferred.
