BASIS Mesa is seeking a qualified 2nd/3rd Grade Math Teacher - Long-Term Substitute to join our bright, passionate team. The role focuses on delivering the BASIS Curriculum, preparing grade-appropriate lessons, and co-teaching with LETs in a dynamic K-3 setting in Mesa, AZ.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in the subject matter (or 24+ credits with another degree), and an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours with other degree.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction at a higher level than grade standard in an interactive environment.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum material.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to boost academic trajectory.
• Maintain regular, full attendance and supervise students as needed.
