Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. is seeking a 2M Certified Electronic Technician to support our customer in Crane, IN. The role requires in-person work and involves repairing 2M miniature and micro-miniature electronic assemblies for U.S. Navy EW systems.

The ideal candidate brings high attention to detail, experience with fine-pitch soldering and board-level repair, and a willingness to obtain or maintain 2M certification while adhering to NAVSEA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in machining or manufacturing preferred.
• Current 2M (Miniature/Micro-Miniature Electronic Repair) Certification - desired or willing to obtain 2M certification.
• Six (6) years of experience in the duties listed above equivalent work experience OR Associates degree with four (4) years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing fine-pitch soldering, board-level troubleshooting, and component-level repair.
• Familiarity with Navy procedures, Navy drawings, and MIL-STD documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2M miniature and micro-miniature electronic repairs on circuit cards, modules, and assemblies used in U.S. Navy EW systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components in accordance with NAVSEA and DoD technical manuals.
• Conduct soldering, rework, and precision component replacement under microscope using approved Navy repair standards.
• Maintain repair records and documentation per NAVSEA Standard Item and NSTM requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance personnel to ensure repairs meet standards.
• Support depot maintenance operations as required.
