Job summary

Rocket EMS is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to run and maintain 2DX X-ray inspection equipment for PCBAs. You will verify solder quality, alignment, and detect hidden defects while following ESD procedures and IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards.

In this role, you load/unload assemblies, review inspection images, and communicate findings with Quality, Process Engineering, and Rework teams. You will keep the equipment calibrated and contribute to continuous improvements on the production

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB inspection preferred.
• Familiarity with 2DX/X-ray or AOI/AXI equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret inspection images accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to quality.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures and safety standards.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to run and maintain our 2DX X-ray inspection equipment as part of our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for solder joint quality, voiding, and component alignment to ensure every product meets our high reliability and customer standards.

What You’ll Do

Pay Range

$23 - $25 USD
