Job summary

Spitzer Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a Drafter to create 2D P&ID drawings for midstream oil and gas production using CADWorx P&ID. The role is full time, hourly, nonexempt, and reports to the Design Manager.

Key tasks include developing P&ID drawings, incorporating redlines from the engineering team, and applying drafting standards and LISP/CUI tools. Proficiency with CADWorx P&ID, AutoCAD, and Vault is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AUTOCAD, CADWorx P&ID, Vault.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and design teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision to deliver assignments on or before their respective due dates.
• Understanding of drafting standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D P&ID’s based on existing design and/or new designs.
• Interpret redlines from the engineering team to incorporate into existing or new P&ID’s.
• Utilize custom CUI menus, LISP routines and drafting standards.
