Job summary

Stepico Games is seeking a talented 2D Animator for remote work in the United States. You will create animations for slot games, including symbols, characters, UI transitions, and VFX, while aligning with the project’s style and production timelines.

The role requires extensive 2D animation experience, knowledge of Spine 2D, After Effects, Photoshop, and strong storyboard skills. You will collaborate closely with artists and developers to deliver high-quality visuals across diverse projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in 2D animation;
• Professional knowledge of Spine 2D;
• Strong grasp of classical animation principles and dynamics;
• Portfolio showcasing animations for slot games as well as other styles (cartoon, casual, semi-realistic);
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects at a professional level;
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop;
• Experience in 2D storyboarding for characters, cutscenes, and frame‑by‑frame VFX effects;
• Deep understanding of game production processes and workflows.

Will Be A Plus

• Experience working in Unity;
• Experience in creating VFX in Unity;
• Knowledge of Blender or any other 3D packages;
• Experience in project/task estimation;
• Designing resource-lean animations that are still high-quality and performant for mobile devices.
