Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a dedicated RDC-Warehouse Associate in Roanoke, TX to support our coast-to-coast distribution network. You will prioritize and pick material to fill orders, load and unload trailers, and maintain inventory with powered equipment, while ensuring accuracy and safety.

This role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and attention to detail as you help serve ~80,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada with tires and shop supplies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange RDC stock by product line and physical alignment; may train and support new associates.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including handling and preparing paperwork as needed.
• Load and Unload Trailers/Containers: Move and lift products weighing up to 150 pounds; stage, count, and store inventory using powered equipment.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the loading dock and surrounding area; keep floors clear of debris.
• Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders; stage products for outbound loading; handle all units with care.
• Report overages and shortages to the Lead Person/Operations Supervisor; submit reports of damaged products.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) per safety standards.
• Verify incoming/outgoing products for accuracy; inform management of shortages and assist with counts.
