29-020 – Activity Security Representative I
Location: Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $72,616.47 annually

Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking an Activity Security Representative I (ASR I) to provide multi‑disciplined security support within a Department of Defense (DoD) Special Access Program (SAP) environment at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. The Activity Security Representative will provide day‑to‑day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities while ensuring strict compliance with all applicable government security regulations. This position is an excellent opportunity for an entry‑level security professional looking to build a career supporting national security programs.

Required Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of related security experience
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Willingness to submit to and successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
  • Ability to work in a secure government environment while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Desired previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
Education & Experience Equivalencies
  • Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years of related experience
  • Associate’s Degree (related field) = 2 years of related experience
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) = 1 year of experience
  • Separate SPED Certifications may each count as 1 year of experience (maximum 3 years credit)
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily security operations by performing duties that include:
  • Security Administration: Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence, maintain document accountability databases and related records, process inbound and outbound classified mail, maintain receipt and tracking records for classified material, perform destruction of classified documents in accordance with security regulations, process and maintain accountability of classified magnetic media, provide classified document reproduction support, maintain daily document control and administrative security logs.
  • Information & Document Control: Assist with processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files, transfer electronic data to authorized internal customers, maintain customer security databases and points of contact, ensure proper accountability and safeguarding of classified information.
  • Personnel & Visitor Security: Research, process, and maintain incoming and outgoing visit requests, escort visitors within secure facilities, maintain visitor control logs, assist with preparation and issuance of facility access badges, conduct entry and exit inspections, support operation and maintenance of facility access control systems, assist with visitor control procedures.
  • Personnel Security: Support personnel security by performing data entry into Personnel Access Security System databases, maintain personnel security records, track customer-sponsored billets and quota information, assist in maintaining personnel security files for supported personnel.
  • Program Security: Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support security education and awareness programs, provide administrative security support to the Site Lead and Senior Security Representative, perform additional security-related duties as assigned.

  • Experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), classified document control, personnel security administration, access control systems, visitor control procedures, DoD security regulations and policies, security education and awareness.
Security Requirements
  • Must possess an Active Top Secret Security Clearance and eligibility for SCI and SAP access.
  • Willingness to successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph if required.
