Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking General Cleaners to join our full-time team supporting educational facilities. Shifts available Monday through Friday: 3pm–11pm or 7am–3:30pm, depending on site.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows and fixtures, restrooms, trash removal, and restocking supplies. You will also respond to work requests and help prepare rooms for events and daily operations.

Qualifications

• General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
• Maintain facility cleanliness to required standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, lighting fixtures, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans outside entrances.
• Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain restrooms.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repairs.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and set up furniture and equipment as directed.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Hiring General Cleaners for Monday - Friday 3p-11pm full time

Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm full time

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
