Job summary

HES is seeking General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness across educational facilities in Missouri. Shifts include Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm or 7am–3:30pm, full-time. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, handling trash, and assisting with setup for events.

Qualifications

• Duties include routine cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas.
• Ability to sweep, mop, vacuum and dust fixtures.
• Experience with window and restroom cleaning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily.
• Dust and clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, and fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and doors.
• Empty trash and clean entryways and exterior areas.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Process work requests and notify management of repairs.
• Organize custodial closets and supply rooms.
• Move or set up furniture for events as directed.

Job Skills / Requirements

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Hiring General Cleaners for Monday - Friday 3p-11pm full time

Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm full time

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
