Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Driver for our Sibley location in Iowa. This role reports to the Production Manager and focuses on efficient and safe handling of raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process.

You will off-load raw materials with accuracy to maintain inventory integrity and ensure neat, damage-free shipping so customers receive a quality product.

Qualifications

• Regular use of computers, telephones and other types of office equipment.
• Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
• Read, understand and follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Read, understand and follow SQF requirements and General Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process.
• Off-load of raw materials and ensure inventory reflects accurately with minimal damage.
• Neat and accurate shipping to assure customers receive a quality product.
• In the absence of the General Warehouse, the Production Manager's designate assumes responsibilities.

POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Driver for our Sibley Location.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position efficiently and safely handles raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process. Efficient handling of materials within the plant is vital to a profitable operation. Off-loading of raw materials must be done accurately to reflect the correct inventory and result in minimal damage. Neat and accurate shipping will assure that our customers receive a quality product. In the absence of the General Warehouse, the Production Manager's designate will assume the responsibilities of this position.
