MoDOT Willow Springs Regional Office is seeking an Engineering Student Intern to assist highway design projects, ranging from technician to entry-level professional, under moderate supervision.
Responsibilities include using CAD software to prepare design plans, attending public meetings, and researching historical highway plans. Applicants must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited program with 30 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.0.

This position will be filled based on previous experience as an engineering student intern.
The Highway Design Intern duties may range from technician-level to entry-level professional depending on student knowledge, skills, and abilities. The design intern performs computations for preparation of detailed construction plans for a portion of, or a complete, highway project. Responsibilities are performed under moderate supervision.
