Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Sequim, WA is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a client in Sequim, with morning shifts from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The pay rate is $27.00/hour, with CEU training assistance provided.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs and IADLs, following each client's Care Plan, and ensuring safety and comfort during shifts. CNA or HCA license, reliable transportation, and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
• Driver's license with valid auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Washington state background and fingerprint check.
• At least 1 year of caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with IADLs such as shopping, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Follow each client's Care Plan.
• Communicate effectively with seniors and their families.
• Maintain client safety and comfort during shifts.

Client #1 : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday . Friday and Saturday 7:30-11:30am

As an Amada team member some of your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
• Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living)
• Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation
• Following each client's Care Plan

Some Qualifications and Skills:

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required
• Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required
• Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
• Must be reliable and dependable
