Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking compassionate CNAs and HCAs for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 12pm–4pm). The role involves assisting with ADLs/IADLs, mobility support, meal preparation, and following each client's Care Plan.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality senior care, communicate clearly, and uphold our 6 Cs: compassion, competence, communication, commitment, confident humility, and congeniality.

Qualifications

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint check as required by state law.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift/move patients and follow care plans with proper body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and IADLs as needed, including bathing, dressing, and meal prep.
• Support clients with transfers, mobility, and toileting needs.
• Follow each client's Care Plan and maintain safety and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

We are currently hiring a caregiver for Gig HarborWA Client

Client #1 :Saturday and Sundays 12pm-4pm

Pay Rate Range: $25.50/hour

As an Amada team member some of your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
• Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living)
• Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation
• Following each client's Care Plan

Some Qualifications and Skills:

• Active State License: CNA or HCA required
• Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required
• Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
• Must be reliable and dependable
