Job summary

Columbus City Schools - Ohio is accepting applications for its 2027-2028 Leadership Intern Program for administrative training at the high school level. Participants are mentored by a current building principal, attend regular professional development sessions, and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Open to current, active, full-time CCS certificated employees; acceptance depends on completing a Master's in an educational field, securing an Ohio Principal License by June 2028, at least

• Master's degree in an educational field (school administration preferred).
• Must secure a valid Ohio Principal License by June 2028.
• Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 environment.
• Highly skilled in human relations, instructional leadership, community relations, written and oral communications.

FOR ASPIRING NEW PRINCIPALS WHO SUPPORT EXEMPLARY STANDARDS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING AND WHO ARE COMMITTED TO ACADEMIC SUCCESS FOR EACH STUDENT

The Columbus City School District is accepting applications for its 2027-2028 Leadership Intern Program for administrative training at the HIGH SCHOOL level. Participants in the Leadership Intern Program are mentored in the daily operations of a school building by a current building principal, attend regular professional development sessions throughout the school year, and perform other related tasks as assigned.

OPEN TO CURRENT, ACTIVE, FULL-TIME CCS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES

Consideration for acceptance into the program will be contingent upon fulfillment of the following requirements:

• Completion of a Master's Degree program in an educational field (school administration preferred).
• Must be in a position to secure a valid Ohio Principal License by June 2028.
• Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 environment.
• Highly skilled in the areas of human relations, instructional leadership, community relations, written and oral communications.

Additional Information

• In addition to the teacher's regular contract salary, a supplemental contract is provided based upon assignment level.
