POSITION SUMMARY

Carmen Schools of Science & Technology seeks On Call Substitute Teachers to lead classroom instruction across our network of schools during the remaining of the school year on an as‑needed basis for our Carmen Schools Campuses. Candidates who join our organization as Substitute Teachers will receive training and financial assistance with the license fee.

COMPENSATION

$200 = Full Daily Rate
$100 = Half Day Rate
Paid biweekly via Direct Deposit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree
• Licensure issued by Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction (or eligibility for such licensure). Click here for more information on a Short-Term Substitute Teacher license: https://dpi.wi.gov/licensing/a...
• Note: After 6 days worked as a Carmen Substitute Teacher, you will be eligible for reimbursement for your DPI License Fee.
• Knowledge and skills in creating a learning environment that fosters college readiness and high student achievement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute meaningful and engaging learning experiences in order to prepare students for college and meaningful careers.

• Know, understand, and follow all WI DPI teacher standards.
• Apply best practices in teaching and classroom management.
• Commit to a culture which promotes learning, respect, trust, and responsibility.

• Read and respond to communication (e‑mail, phone messages, etc.) daily.
