Description

Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Part-Time/Per Diem Respiratory Therapist, RN, or LPN to help support our office in Bismarck, ND and the surrounding area. Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen and respiratory products throughout the Midwest and Rockies. We specialize in serving the long-term care community and oxygen-dependent Veterans. The ideal candidate would be someone looking to pick up extra hours occasionally on a needed basis. You will apply your unique skill set and experience to home care and skilled nursing facility environments by setting patients up, providing comprehensive instruction, follow-up, and ongoing support of high technology modalities.

In-house training on Northwest Respiratory Services equipment will occur upon hire.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Eligible to participate in 401K program

Job Duties:

  • Deliver, set up and provide instruction of home medical equipment to include: oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction and pediatric setups.
  • Provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction of proper use, safety, cleaning and continuing education to clients.
  • Schedule and conduct staff in-services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested.
  • Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients and NRS staff; assist with troubleshooting of equipment.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Current RT/RN/LPN License in the state of Branch location and in other state(s) as required based on territory served.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Home care experience is preferred.
