Racine Unified School District invites applications for a Swim Coach. You will perform duties as designated by the head coach, provide instruction and supervision of athletes, and coordinate with facilities and transportation for home and away meets.

Required: WIAA coaching certification or State teaching license; knowledge of swim rules and instruction; prior swim participation or coaching preferred; CPR/AED training preferred. A cover letter is required as part of the application.

Qualifications

• WIAA coaching certification or State teaching license required.
• Knowledge of swim rules and skill instruction.
• Past college or high school experience as a swim participant or coach preferred.
• CPR/AED training preferred.
• Cover letter required.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties as designated by the head coach.
• Provide proper instruction and supervision of athletes including locker rooms, transportation vehicles, home and away facilities.
• Commit the time needed as designated by the head coach.
• Communicate appropriately with students, staff, officials, parents, bus drivers, and the community.
• Maintain an image as a positive role model including sportsmanship and attire.

Qualifications

• WIAA coaches certification or State teachers license is required.


• A current knowledge of Swim rules and regulations and skill instruction.


• Past college or high school experience as a Swim participant or coach is preferred.


• CPR/AED training is preferred.
