About Our District

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use standards (CCSS, SELS, Language) to identify common learning targets.
  • Utilize knowledge of students’ backgrounds, interests, and assessment data to inform planning.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and long-term plans supporting student mastery of standards.
  • Establish clear objectives and communicate them to students.
  • Instruct using various methods to promote engagement, collaboration, and independence.
  • Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Provide daily opportunities for reasoning, explanations, and argumentation.
  • Design formative assessments and adjust instruction based on data.
  • Offer meaningful feedback to promote student progress.
  • Engage with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate with staff to support student learning.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (transcripts required).
  • Wisconsin DPI teaching license in relevant areas or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Applicants considered on a rolling basis; licensing required within 30 days of employment.
