SUMMARY: The Teacher in this role will create an environment that meets the individual needs and abilities of students that receive special education services; socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. The Teacher will provide support and services to students with disabilities so they may access the general education curriculum, within a full continuum of services.

Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions: Work is routinely performed in an indoor classroom environment.
