This is a rewarding opportunity to support K–5 students in a collaborative, student-centered environment. You'll play a vital role in fostering social-emotional development and helping students succeed both academically and emotionally.

Position: School Social Worker

Location: West Chicago, IL

Duration: August 21, 2025 – June 4, 2026

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Weekly Hours: 35 guaranteed

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and documentation
• Deliver counseling in both individual and group settings
• Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation and regulations

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement – Required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practices and student-centered support
